With over 65 stores opened within a 10-year timeframe and a fresh master brand strategy in place, the evolution of the retail experience was underway. My scope of responsibilities included a broad range of work with both internal and external clients. At the outset, these encompassed strategic budget planning, stakeholder alignment, and the hiring of a new store design agency and architectural firm. This 12-month project demanded extensive planning, value-engineering, and seamless cross-functional communication to achieve the project objectives.
As the approver of store design, signage, fixtures and departmental spaces, I diligently articulated the design vision, upheld brand standards, and presented all key milestones to the executive team for approval. The timing of this project was challenging as it coincided with industry-wide material shortages and unprecedented price increases. However, through determination and my ability to identify alternative options, the team and I successfully completed the remodel on time and within the designated budget.
